MEET THE OWNER
Mike Vogel founded the Furniture Doctor in 1991. Bend began to boom in the late 80's and new furniture store's were opening everywhere. Jack's Upholstery, Mike's employer at the time was experiencing an increase in warrenty work. After several years of seeing the growing demand for small repairs, Mike had a picture pop into his head of a cartoon ambulance with "The Furniture Doctor" on it. He launched out, "making old fashiond house calls". Business increased rapidly with the demand for on-site repairs. Today The Furniture Doctor offers full upholstery, complete refinishing, restorations and they're "still making old fashioned house calls".

The Furniture Doctor was a "one man show" for many years, but Mike still strives to keep the quality and service at it's best! Still to this day every piece of work is inspected and approved by Mike himself. Quality and integrity are very important to him and he intends to have a business that operates with those same values in mind.
